I tried to undo this setting, but couldn't so I deinstalled Zone Alarm Pro, intending to reinstall it directly from the ZoneAlarm website, this time without accepting that setting. The malicious software seems to have been my Nortons Systems Works, because after accepting this setting, there was a red X through my Norton icon. During the installation of the upgrade, I got a bright red message that malicious software was trying to make changes to my registry, asking me if this software should be blocked.
